There is new business opening up in Ubly, Michigan. This will be a running store to bring all your running needs to
you. Erica Klee the owner of Running in The Country is very excited for this new opportuinty. She
says I am extremely excited to bring something to Ubly that I have always looked for. Running is something I am
very passionate about and I have always wanted to own my own business.
Klee has been running since she was in
the 6th grade and ran all through out highschool. She says I always looked to shop somewhere local for all my
running needs but there never was a store available. I have lots of friends in the thumb that were also looking
for somewhere
local to shop and that is what sparked my interest.
The public is also extremely excited to welcome a new
business to town.
Ubly is a small town and sees little to no new business coming in. But the public says they want that to change and
they want people to come to town. Jamie a resident of Ubly says I am so excited for a new business coming to
town. I have not been much of a runner ever but I am very avid walker so I am very excited about a store with a
great selection of shoes.
Running in The Country is set to open on February 5th, 2024. There
will be an open house on that day with special deals, drawings, and light refreshments. Jamie says she will be there
and so will many other community members that are very excited for Running in The Country to open.
